General Presentation
ASTRA Passenger Coaches Plc. has as main object of activity the manufacturing
and repair of rolling stock material.
In order to offer a complete range of products to the customers at a high level of quality, ASTRA Passenger Coaches Plc. developed its technical capability and covers by its departments all necessary fields to manufacture rolling stock material.
The Research & Design & Engineering Center (CCPT) was developed as a center of excellence where technical studies are effected according to ASTRA strategy, and are elaborated the manufacturing and engineering documentation, and also the solutions for our customers problems.
In production workshops are manufactured and tested the rail vehicles, and are also manufactured the carbodies, the bogies and a large number of different types of components.
Actually, ASTRA Passenger Coaches Plc. owns all capabilities in order to realize all types of passenger coaches 200km/h speed for international traffic UIC, metro, trams, and services of maintenance, reconstruction and modernization of rail vehicles and tailored solution according to our clients needs.
